Acne (acne)
What is Acne?
Acne is a common skin condition, especially in teens and puberty. Also, adults may be bothered with recurrent pimples. Acne is caused by inflammation of the skin's sebaceous glands and is characterized by comedones (white and black worms) and red nodules / elevations in the skin with and without pus. Wounds and crusts can also occur. Mainly the face and neck are affected, but acne can also occur on the back and chest. Severe acne can cause permanent scarring. Many people with acne experience depression and social challenges due to the skin condition. Kristiansand Hudlege

What is Rosacea?
A common skin disorder that causes redness of the facial skin, often a pimple-like rash is seen. It is common to see dilated blood vessels in the skin, so-called telangiectasias. The condition can be aggravated by sunlight, alcohol and spicy foods. The rash usually occurs in the 30s to 50s. Most women are affected, but men can also develop rosacea and often more severe. Some may develop rhinophyma, a skin condition where the nose turns red and swells. The eyes can also be attacked. Many people experience the rash as annoying, and have problems with soreness, stinging and burning in the facial skin. Lyngdal Hudlege
